Board of Trustees
The Keller ISD Board of Trustees is the seven-member policy-making body of the District, with members elected by KISD citizens to three-year terms.
Trustees are tasked with overseeing the management of the District and ensuring that the superintendent implements and monitors District operations.
Meet the Board of Trustees
Dr. Charles Randklev is currently in the third year of his first term on the KISD Board of Trustees. He first took office in May of 2021.
John Birt is in the first year of his second term as a Keller ISD Trustee, having previously served from 1996-99. He assumed office for his second term in May 2023.
Joni Shaw Smith is currently serving the second year of her first term as a Keller ISD Trustee. She first took office in May 2022.
Micah Young is currently in the second year of his first term serving as a Keller ISD Trustee. He took office in May 2022.
Chelsea Kelly is currently serving the first year of her first term as a Keller ISD Trustee. She was appointed to fill the vacant Place 3 seat in August 2024.
Board Member Chris Coker is in the first year of his first term as a Keller ISD Trustee. He assumed office in May 2023.
Heather Washington is currently in the first year of her first term on the KISD Board of Trustees. She first took office in January 2023.
Dr. Tracy Johnson was named Keller ISD Superintendent in December 2023.
