Dr. John Allison was named Interim Superintendent of Schools by the Keller ISD Board of Trustees beginning July 1, 2023, while the Board searches for a new Superintendent in the wake of Dr. Rick Westfall's retirement. 

Dr. Allison joined Keller ISD in February 2021 and has served as the District's Associate Superintendent of Education since then. 

Allison has dedicated his life to public education, serving in a multitude of roles including classroom teacher, campus administrator, associate and deputy superintendent, and a superintendent of multiple districts, including Mt. Lebanon School District in Pennsylvania, Wichita Public Schools, and Olathe Public Schools in Olathe, Kansas. As the Associate Superintendent of Education in Keller ISD, he oversees and leads the entirety of Keller ISD’s educational support systems.
