New Student Enrollment 2021-22

    Welcome to the Keller Independent School District! As a service to our community, we provide a secure online enrollment for parents whose student(s) meet either of the following criteria:  

    • The student is entering Keller ISD for the first time; or
    • The student has attended Keller ISD in the past, but was not enrolled on the last day of the previous school year (5/27/2021). 

    Please Note: This page is for New Student Enrollment for the 2021-22 school year only. If you intend to enroll your student for the 2022-23 school year, please visit the New Student Enrollment 2022-23 page. 

    Before you begin the online enrollment process, you will want to have the following documents available to upload. The documents highlighted are required to complete enrollment for your student(s): 

    • Parent Identification – Valid Photo ID
    • Student Identification – Birth Certificate Preferred 
      If a birth certificate cannot be provided, you must complete the Birth Certificate Exception Form and provide one of the following options:  
      • Passport 
      • Adoption Records
      • Church Baptismal Record
      • School ID Card
      • Hospital Birth Record
      • Any other legal document that establishes identity 
    • Child's Immunization Records – Validated by a physician's signature or stamp; current immunization requirements can be found at 
      • All students new to the District, who are enrolling from outside the state of Texas, must present an immunization record prior to enrollment approval. New students enrolling in Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten must also provide proof of immunizations. All incoming seventh-grade students are required to have a Tdap Booster and an MCV4 (meningitis vaccine) prior to the first day of school. 
    • Child's Social Security Number – Copy of Social Security Card
    • Proof of Residency – Utility bill, lease agreement, or contract. Refer to Residency Information Required below
      • If you are not a resident of Keller ISD, but you are living with someone who is a resident, the resident must complete an Affidavit of Residency form. This form is available when you register. Falsification of information by parents/guardians may be punishable under Texas Penal Code, Chap. 37, Sec. 37.10. 
    • Proof of Legal Restrictions – Court orders or any legal documents (all pages)
    • Department of Family Protective Services (DFPS) – Copy of the DFPS Form 2015, DFPS E-2095, or the court order in its entirety.

    Residency Information Required

    • Initial Registration – If living in own residence or renting 
      • Provide parent/guardian driver's license 
      • Provide current utility bill showing name, current address, and date 
      • Provide rental agreement or lease (if renting or leasing) 
    • Initial Registration – If purchasing or building a residence in Keller ISD 
      • Purchasing a residence
        • Provide purchase contract with projected move-in date
        • Campus will follow up at projected move-in date
        • Provide utility bill showing new address (utility deposit or connection confirmation within 30 days of move in)
      • Building a residence 
        • Provide builder's contract showing projected completion date (must be less than six months) 
        • Campus will follow up at projected completion date 
        • Provide utility bill showing new address (utility deposit or connection confirmation within 30 days of move in) 
    • Initial Registration – If living in another person's residence 
      • Provide parent/guardian driver's license with residence address or utility bill in parent/guardian name showing residence address 
      • Provide parent/guardian driver's license
      • Provide driver's license of person responsible for (owner of) residence 
      • Provide utility bill showing name of owner, current address, and state 
      • Residence owner to complete Affidavit of Residency (notarized) 
      • If child(ren) not living with parent, provide court document or Power of Attorney (signed by parent/guardian and notarized). Campus will follow up (in 30-60 days and for subsequent school years). 

    All Residency Affidavits are subject to verification by campus/attendance officer and if falsification of information is determined, withdrawal is immediate in accordance with Board Policy FD (Legal)
