In order to be admitted , students must take an ACT or an SAT. Both exams are accepted by Universities.
The ACT and SAT are taken when applying to a 4 year university/college with the intent to pursue a Bachelor's Degree.
Students should take their first ACT/SAT during Jan - April of their 11th grade year. We encourage our students to take 1 of each and whichever they did best, have them re-take the exam in the summer PRIOR to Senior year.
When registering, students are allowed to chose their testing location. Tests are given on Saturdays and generally are from 8 AM - 1PM
When registering for your first exam, allow 20-30 minutes to complete your registration for both ACT and SAT. Once you are registered and want to retest , the registration process is brief.
If you are qualified for Free/Reduced Lunch , you can obtain a waiver for each exam from your counselor. Simply go to the office and ask to see your counselor for your testing waivers. Once you receive your waivers, you can register and enter your code for payment.
If you DO NOT on Free/Reduced Lunch , the SAT cost is $52.50 and the ACT cost is $46.00
