Pre-Covid Policies:

Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First graders:

• Visit the library weekly
• May check out one book weekly
• May not check out a book if they do not turn in previous library book
• May turn in books any time (does not have to be their library day)
• Are welcome to visit individually during flexible hours for checkout and/or to turn in books (with teacher’s permission)

Second, Third,Fourth, and Fifth Graders:

• Visit the library weekly
• May check out 2 books at a time
• May keep books for 2 weeks before renewing
• Must have book in hand to renew
• May visit the library with teacher’s permission during flexible hours any school day
• May turn in books any time

Other policies:

• Students are NOT assessed overdue fines.
• Students with overdue books may not check out.
• Lost or damaged books must be paid for before the student may check out new books.
• Students may come to the library in the mornings before school to check out books, read, and create in the Makerspace. (Limit of 20 students each morning)
