Stacie Martinsen is a proud Texas native who has taught Theatre in public schools for 18 years. She graduated with a BFA in Theatre from SMU in Dallas and has her Master’s in Education from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California. Stacie has taught both in California and Texas and is so happy to be teaching elementary theatre at Ridgeview in the town where she lives and raises her son, Aksel, now a 13-year old All-Region Trombone Player at ISMS under the direction of David Puckett.

Stacie has performed in numerous regional Theatres, specifically in L.A. with The Hudson Guild under the direction of Jack Stehlin and locally in Dallas with Teatro Dallas under the direction of Cora Cardona. She has starred on television in “Walker, Texas Ranger” with Chuck Norris, “Ambush in Waco” with Tim Daly, “The Bold and the Beautiful”, “Dangerous Curves”, and “Strong Medicine” with Janine Turner.

Stacie is also the Lead Elementary Theatre Teacher for KISD, supervising 14 different schools and their Theatre Teachers. She is the 2017 – 2018 ISMS Band Booster President and is now on the Keller High School Band’s 2018 – 2019 Sponsor Committee for their upcoming trip to The Macy’s Day Parade.

In all her spare time, Stacie likes to travel and has come to love the Texas State Parks as an affordable family vacation option.
