KISD earns TEA Recognized rating for third straight year

The Texas Education Agency released its official district and campus accountability ratings for the 2009-10 school year Friday, July 30.

Keller ISD is rated "Recognized" for the third consecutive year, and 24 of KISD's 35 qualifying campuses are rated "Exemplary", the state's highest rating. KISD had 17 Exemplary campuses last year.

Eight campuses earned a "Recognized" rating for 2009-10, while three other campuses rated as "Academically Acceptable". New Directions Learning Center was rated as "AEA: Academically Acceptable."
