SKI's Timberline Penny War a Success

South Keller Intermediate students teamed up to help make the holidays a little brighter for local children in need by conducting a Penny War.

The Timberline Lodge, which includes the classes of Mrs. Clegg, Mrs. Kirk and Mrs. Rife, all participated in a Penny War between the three homeroom classes. During November 28 - December 9, students placed pennies in their homeroom jars and other coins in the opposing class jars. The homeroom class who had the most pennies in their jar at the end of two weeks was crowned the winner.

Proceeds were given to the Keller Community Storehouse in order to purchase gifts for pre-teen and teenage children during the holidays.

Thanks to all who participated!
