KISD hosts 2nd Annual Drug and Alcohol Awareness May 11

Keller ISD will host the 2nd Annual Drug and Alcohol Awareness Fair on Tuesday, May 11.

The fair will run from from 6-8:30 p.m. at the KISD Education Center (350 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX 76248).

The Fair is free to attend and will feature several presentations from experts in the field of drug awareness as well as families who have suffered their affects. There will also be food, drinks and giveaways.

6:30 p.m.

  • Panel -- "Sharing Our Story", Recovering Addicts and Families
  • Drug Trends and Strategies for Intervention and Treatment, Elliott Connie, LPC

7:30 p.m.

  • Parents Who Host Lose the Most -- Legal Consequences, Agent Tana Travis
  • Practical Interventions for Parents and Youth Workers, Dr. David Gililland
