Credit union opens at Fossil Ridge High School

Fossil Ridge Credit Union (FRCU), powered by Unity One Credit Union, opened and recorded its first transactions Friday, October 7 at Fossil Ridge High School.

The FRCU is the first student-run financial institution in Keller ISD. The credit union will allow students and faculty/staff to deposit money, make withdrawals and cash checks. An ATM will also be onsite for convenience.

The festivities surrounding the grand opening October 7 took place in the Fossil Ridge Commons area and featured a Cash Cube filled with cash and prizes, transactions, and remarks by FRHS Principal Dave Hadley and Unity One CEO Gary Williams.

During the entire month of October, for anyone that opens an account at FRCU, Unity One will donate $5 to the organization of his/her choice.
