CHS students qualify for FBLA National Competition

Central High School Future Business Leaders of America students competed April 8-10 in Corpus Christi at the FBLA State Leadership Conference.

The students spent two days attending leadership workshops and competing in areas of technology, business, management and marketing. CHS had 18 students who qualified for the State Competition by placing at the local Area 7 competition in February.

The following students placed at the State Competition:

Ale Cruz – 1st in Job Interview
JB Felip and Luke Asper – 2nd in Digital Video Production
Keith Hopkins and Brad Shedlock – 2nd in Network Design
Alex Baker – 3rd in Marketing
Austin Harris, Laura Lewi, and Zach Campbell – 4th in Global Business
Melinda So – 4th in Future Business Leader

The following students also qualified for the National Competition to be held in Nashville, Tenn. this summer:
