Keller ISD's Board of Trustees extended the contract of Superintendent Dr. James Veitenheimer at a special meeting Thursday, January 26.
The Board extended Dr. Veitenheimer's contract through the summer of 2015. His contract was not extended last year per his request as no other employee contracts were also not extended.
Dr. Veitenheimer's renewed contract will provide him a raise equal to that of any raise the rest of the KISD workforce receives.
The contract was extended by a vote of 5-1. One Trustee was absent from the meeting.
