Keller ISD has scheduled a hearing for public discussion of the annual Academic Excellence Indicator System report for January 12 during the regular Board of Trustees meeting.
The Texas Education Agency requires that school districts hold a public hearing within 90 days of the late November release of the reports to district superintendents. The winter holiday does not count toward the 90 days.
According to TEA, the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year to provide extensive information on school and district staff, finances, programs, and demographics.
The AEIS reports can be accessed on the TEA Web site, www.tea.state.tx.us.
The January 12, 2012 regular meeting of the Keller ISD Board of Trustees is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at the KISD Education Center, 350 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248.
