Keller ISD earned a place among eight school districts across the nation to be highlighted on the American Association of School Administrators' (AASA) Indoor Air Quality in Practice website.
The website, www.IAQinPractice.org, describes the process by which eight districts across the country focused on and improved environmental conditions in their classrooms.
Keller ISD is highlighted for the administrative and Board support that led to policy changes that emphasize the importance of indoor air quality on student and staff performance.
Other districts mentioned on the site include fellow Metroplex neighbors Irving ISD and Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD. The other five districts are Broward County (Fla.) Public Schools, Denver Public Schools, Recovery School District of Louisiana, Richmond County (Ga.) School System, and the San Francisco Unified School District.
