Why is Keller ISD associated with the Keller Youth Association (KYA) despite the revelation of the employment of the organization’s president?
Keller ISD does not have a formal partnership with the Keller Youth Association.
Each year thousands of KISD students participate in the KYA, but the district does not provide the organization with any financial support/tax dollars nor does the district have on record permission for the KYA to post its logo. In addition, the KYA does not receive discounted or special rates in its facility rentals from the district.
Even though the district does not have a formalized partnership with the KYA, it recognizes that the KYA provides students and their families with abundant opportunities to participate in youth sports year round.
