Some parents may have recently received an email from the director of the Clayton YES after-school program indicating that Keller ISD is considering removing Clayton YES from its campuses.
Keller ISD is in the process of reviewing its after-school program for students.
The District is currently partnered with Clayton YES to provide after school care on a number of our campuses. Keller ISD is considering other service providers, including an experienced one that offers similar services to Clayton YES and is used in Northwest ISD, Roanoke and Trophy Club.
As always, our students are our top priority and Keller ISD has no plans to remove and/or disrupt after school services for students. The Board of Trustees will take action during the Monday, October 10, 2011 Board Meeting. Keller ISD will continue to keep parents informed regarding any decisions and/or changes that will affect the district’s after school care program.
UPDATE (10/11/11): Board of Trustees votes to continue partnership with Clayton YES
