Lisa Veitenheimer Memorial Award
The Keller ISD Education Foundation would like to recognize up to five first-year teachers for their demonstrated leadership this year with a $250 award. The Lisa Veitenheimer Memorial Awards, in memory of Lisa Veitenheimer for her more than 20 years of experience as a veteran classroom teacher who also had a passion for education and inspiring others, is a peer-nominated award for first-year teachers who demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities, displaying creativity and innovation in their teacher abilities and show a desire for making a difference in a child's life.
